The short version: the numbers you enter are calculated in your browser and are not sent to us.
What you type
The calculator runs entirely in your browser. The income, expenses, wages and filing status you enter are used only to compute the result on your screen. They are not sent to a server, stored in a database or written to cookies. Reloading the page clears them.
Analytics
This site uses Google Analytics 4 to count visits and which pages are used. It records standard page-view information such as the page, referrer, approximate location, browser and device. When you use the calculator it records that a calculation happened with the tax year and filing status chosen, never the amounts. Google sets cookies for this purpose. You can block them in your browser settings or with a content blocker.
Server logs and hosting
The site is served from Cloudflare, which processes technical request data such as IP address and user agent to deliver pages and protect against abuse. We do not combine that data with anything you enter.
